Severing Illusions

Chen Wang, a mortal who has been forging iron for ten years in the Sword Burial Valley, has no spiritual root or cultivation method. He only knows how to hammer ordinary iron, using the principles of thermal expansion and mechanical force he learned from forging to break the spiritual swords that cultivators pride themselves on. After killing a cultivator who used mortal iron to forge evil swords, he unlocks the ancient sword box hidden within his body—it forges no mortal iron, houses no divine weapons, but severs all falsehoods and hypocritical paths in the world. With his master mysteriously disappearing, leaving behind puzzles, and pursuing cultivators coming one after another, Chen Wang carries his fate out of the valley, wielding a rusty sword and a pair of iron tongs, traveling across the land to sever falsehoods, sever emotions, sever obsessions, and finally sever the false immortal path.
