After the Blackout, I Can Hear the City's Cries for Help

After a city-wide blackout, repairman Lin Zhao discovers he can hear cries for help from a disconnected radio. Each voice comes from a disaster that hasn't happened yet: elevator falls, subway flooding, hospital backup power failure. But when he rushes to the scenes, the victims claim they never called him. As the city spirals into darkness, Lin realizes the voices aren't broadcasts—they are the city's death echoes in advance. Worse, the last recording contains his own voice.
