The Ancestor Forbids Opening the Thirteenth Gate

Zhu Chang'an is an orientation interpreter for the cultural relic emergency investigation team. He can read a path from the placement, damage, and orientation of artifacts, but never uses that path as a way to get rich. His grandfather left a prohibition: the twelve gates can be investigated, but the thirteenth gate must not be opened. A batch of illegally transferred artifacts bears the mark of the thirteenth gate, and a missing person case from twenty years ago is also brought back to light. Zhu Chang'an is not looking for hidden treasures in the tomb, but for a set of hidden evidence of artifact circulation.
