The Debt Collector of Karma

In the world of cultivation, everyone borrows life, luck, and opportunities, but no one knows that every use leaves an IOU in the ledger of heaven. Shen Yan, a menial accountant in a remote town, sees an unsettled debt on a corpse marked as 'settled,' gaining the ability to verify karma and pursue debtors. He only wants to investigate his father's old contract and save his own life, but discovers that the sect has been shifting calamities onto the lower ranks, and the old debts left by ascendants are dragging the entire town to ruin.
