Qingyun Sect's Music Peak is the poorest and most neglected of the seven peaks. A menial disciple, Ye Yin, transfers to Music Peak due to an unnamed score and a burnt-tail qin with five broken strings. The qin harbors the lingering thoughts of the ancient qin master Su He, whom only Ye Yin can hear speaking in his ear. Su He teaches him a set of killing melodies that use the qin as a weapon, from 'Torn Silk' and 'Golden Spear' to 'Breaking Formation', 'Ambush on Ten Sides', and 'Guangling San', each more profound than the last.
