The protagonist comes from the old streets of the common folk. In his youth, he was unruly and wild, with a rebellious streak that refused to be tamed. When he was young, he acted impulsively and recklessly, easily causing trouble with his hot-blooded nature, getting into no small amount of mischief, never caring about others' opinions, living boldly and flamboyantly. He had no advantages, lacked protection on his path of growth, and could only bear many things on his own. His youthful recklessness was not pure malice, but more the rebellion of a young person with nowhere to place it. The mistakes he made in his youth did not fade with time; in the long years that followed, they became burdens he had to bear one by one. Entering his middle years, his path was full of continuous hardships. The trials of life wore away some of his youthful sharpness, but did not extinguish the toughness in his bones. After countless setbacks, he slowly learned to restrain his impulses and understand the cruelty of reality. Looking back, the troubles he caused in his youth ultimately had to be repaid bit by bit by himself. He is not a good person in the traditional sense; he carries flaws and scars from his past. Through the storms and ups and downs of half a lifetime, he has tasted all the hardships of the world. Once a reckless youth, he struggles endlessly in a rough life, carrying the past left by his youth while continuing to move forward, in the grinding of reality, guarding the last bit of bottom line in his heart, persisting in living on through the muddy days. — Description from novelcodex.org
