The Ghostly Clinic: I Only Treat the Dead
by 蓝色龙龙
The iron rule of this medical practice: one item for one prescription. All yin illnesses have karmic causes; treating for free means the karma shifts to the doctor. No matter how poor or rich, one must bring an item to exchange for the prescription — a penny, a strand of hair, an old object, anything will do. The point is to "settle accounts." Three no-treats: no treatment for illnesses without cause, no deep investigation into self-invited disasters, no acceptance of wishes that defy heaven. Prescriptions are not to be passed on: yin prescriptions are burned immediately after use, leaving no copy, to prevent ill-intentioned people from using them to harm others. Consultation fees depend on fate: no fixed price; patients give according to their means, and the clinic does not argue over more or less — but the item for exchanging the prescription cannot be omitted. — Description from novelcodex.org
