This Rain Only Kills the Good

On the seventh day of the gray rain, the last good person on this street went mad. College student Lu Chen spent eight days figuring out the cruel rules: this rain doesn't drench anyone—it remembers them first. The criterion for being remembered is the number of times you've thought of others. The kinder you are, the sooner you die. Lu Chen intended to look out only for himself, but as he watched the kind neighbors in his building fall one by one, he gritted his teeth and swore: even if the world treats goodness as a crime, he won't hand over a single good person in this building. He can calculate who will die, but he can't stop death itself. Until he discovers that the thing in the rain isn't just watching people. And in the city, someone is holding a list, going door to door to "collect people" for this rain.
