Reborn in the 1970s, I Married a Big Shot
by 笑蓝
Chu Mo has been frail and sickly since childhood, deaf and unable to speak. Chu Yuechuan, a man with a disabled leg, takes him in. Chu Yuechuan runs a street stall to support Chu Mo. He pays for his treatment, teaches him to speak, and puts him through medical school. Chu Mo finally starts working and can at last repay Chu Yuechuan, but then Chu Yuechuan dies. Chu Mo faints from grief, and when he wakes he is back in the 1970s. The first thing he does is go looking for Chu Yuechuan. In this life Chu Mo is born more than ten years earlier. He is still deaf and mute, but with his memories of his past life he is confident he can give them both a good life, and repay all the kindness he never had the chance to show Chu Yuechuan. Chu Mo finds Chu Yuechuan at nineteen, before he is disabled: tall, long-legged, powerfully built and fierce-looking, a man no one would dare to cross. When they meet again, Chu Yuechuan is as good to Chu Mo as ever, guarding him like the apple of his eye. But Chu Mo couldn’t help feeling that something was off about the way Chu Yuechuan looked at him. It wasn’t until Chu Yuechuan pinned him down and kissed him until he was nearly out of breath that Chu Mo understood. It turns out Chu Yuechuan thought Chu Mo had come to him as his betrothed in an arranged marriage, and has been raising him as his wife all along! Once Chu Mo explains the truth, he expects Chu Yuechuan to be disappointed to learn he is a man. Instead, Chu Yuechuan’s dark eyes light up, and he looks at Chu Mo even more passionately.
